Ruthann P. Anderson wildlife author, poet, and speaker, teaching people to respect and appreciate animals and nature. Short stories about wild duck rehabilitation. Mrs. Anderson's first published book is Duck "Tails" from Quacker Inn. All of her stories in the book relate to her experiences as a wildlife rehabilitator. Her stories clearly communicate her love of animals and her tireless efforts in saving each one from injury or illness. In addition, she she has written eight poem booklets on various topics; many of the poems are humorous to young and old alike. These topics include wild animals, nature, pets, and life experiences. Mrs. Anderson enjoys sharing her real-life experiences with children of all ages. She conveys her feelings about animals to the children. After her presentations, the children leave with a new appreciation for animals and nature. As a former teacher, Mrs. Anderson easily builds a rapport with children. They find her stories fascinating and sit enthralled as she shares photographs that go along with her stories.
