LITTLE POINTY EARS
When my husband and I sit at the table,
And we prepare to eat,
A pair of little pointy ears
Suddenly appears at an empty seat.
If we watch for a moment or two,
Next there will appear
A pair of eyes so blue.
They belong to our mischievous cat.
She is also our feline acrobat.
She knows she is a family member
And helps with everything we do.
She attends all meetings in our home
And shows up at our mealtimes too.
As we do our daily chores
Each and everyday,
We can almost guaranty
That this pair of little pointy ears
Won't be far away!
