"I'M AN AMERICAN!"
"I'm an American!" I'm not afraid to say,
"I believe in the USA!"
I am willing to stand up and fight
For the principles I believe are right.
I am willing to lend a helping hand,
Even to others in a far away land.
I will make mistakes along the way
But will try not to repeat them another day.
When life doesn't always go as planned,
I will build inner strength and travel on.
And at the close of each day,
I can still proudly say,
"I'm an American!"
